    1. For a film without dialogue it was interesting, seeming that I have a short attention span. Every time I had the urge to lose interest the music would change, hinting at a theme change, it's dynamic views on the evolution unto the modern world allowed the class and I to see traditional practices forcefully advance due to several factors such and capitalism, media, technology, and machinery. Overall I enjoyed the film. I wouldn't recommend it to my "average" friends, but if I were to come across someone that desired to be socially mutated I'd highly recommend it in the blink of a second ! :) ♥

  3. I thought that the movie was very intriguing and an eye-opener because even though it contained no sound, I saw how civilizations has changed from traditional practices to more advanced and modern technologies. Also, the changes from scene to scene would show how society was forced to evolve and modern or be left behind in the past and deteriorate. If anyone has a thrust for knowledge and hunger for something spontaneous, I would recommend this movie to them.

  4. I thought this movie was a very interesting for it to have no narration. I love how the creator utilizes the various sounds and images to portray multiple themes. The scenes are in third world countries which made this even more interesting due to the fact that I have never really seen these places in great detail. The creator of this movie ultimately succeeds at depicting his view on life.

  6. I felt the movie was like a National Geographic documentary. At first, the movie just seemed to display scenes from 3rd world countries, but as we discussed it, I started to see some meaning in some of the scenes. To each their own, the movie isn't really something I would watch normally, but it was good exposure for me.

  7. I enjoyed the movie. The music really set the tone for the events that happened through out the movie. The movie triggers one to think about different societies as a whole on Earth. I would not mind watching the sequel to the movie

  12. I thought that Powaqqastsi was a very interesting movie, I found it very eye opening. While watching the movie I could not but help to think about all the different changes and cultures, and ways of life this world has to offer. This movie made me think about how our society and our values changes us as people. All in all I thought Powaqqatsi was an excellent movie for TOK class, I hope to see more movies like this in the future.
