I'm First, that's weird. The arguments to 9/11 brought by Zeitgeist did alter my opinion of the scenario, the claims made by the director of the movie were backed by common sense, lack of evidence, and the strange coincidental events of that day, for example: The airport having exercises that involve hijacking planes on the same day that 4 commercial jets are hijacked and not having the ability to distinguish the legitimate hijacks from the simulated ones. I've thought for the past 8 or so years that 9/11 was an act of terrorism committed by a foreign country, but after watching the video, I now see that this could have just been a false flag by the government used as some sort of propaganda to convince everyone that that particular country or those particular people are enemies and we should support the war. Just Saying. Rashawn Maple
To be honest, the Zeitgeist movie kind of creeped me out. We were just looking at 9/11 and then I come home to see there were bombs set off in Boston. Ironic, isnt' it? Ok, I understand you want us to give facts from the 9/11 argument, but I'm just really disgusted on how people can be so cruel. That was absolutely wrong for them to crash those missles or hijacked planes into the World Trade Center. They obviously did not think about people dying. I understand how some countries have to take action on certain situations, but it is just sickening how I hear about all of these thousands of people dying because of something that is not their problem to begin with, such as fighting for oil (I think that's what you told us). To me, the fact that President Bush did absolutely nothing to solve the problem, but try to call Sudam Hussein out, is just utterly disrespectful to all of us, especially to the families who loss their loved ones. I'm sure they wanted something resolved, some families probably still don't have any closure on why 9/11 occurred. The only part that really interested me was the movie scene (I forgot what the movie was called). The movie scene when it was this newsman arguing that everyone should get mad and scream out the quote he was saying (I forgot that too). So I'm thinking only a few number of people know about the truth about 9/11 and they are still stuck on the myth. If that is so, then everyone should look at this movie. (I also agree with what Rashawn said above)
The video really made me look at the government and 9/11 in a different way. It really made me think about the possibilities of the government planning the bombs and planes their selfs. When they showed the videos of the bombs going off in the basement it made me wonder why the government didn't let everyone know about this. The video really bothered me because they had me thinking all this time the planes and the terrorist tried to destroy our government and people. I hated those people for all those year's and the people I need to be scared of and watching is my own government and people. Thank you very much Mr. Harris for letting me watch the video and know the truth. -Giovonni Shuler TOK B-DAY
It really was sad to see those images of 9/11. It made my stomach turn seeing all those people suffer. I really am thankful for my life and watching these videos make me truly grateful. I can imagine how the people families that died feel because I know it must been tough. I hope I never have to go through that or have a family member or even a friend go through that. I just think God for a lot because I truly am bless well we all are. But the video was interesting besides the people dying but it was like I really was there though. Nathean Scott TOK B DAY
Many people have said that the government had somthing to do with 9/11 but no one could tell me how they did it. This movie made a lot of sense because it had several evidence. The part that really made me believe that the government was on to something was when they did not find any pieces of the plane. That part creeped me out! I enjoyed the video. :-) -LaToya Charley
the way that this movie portrayed 9/11 really got me thinking. I always thought that the government had an influence on the event, but I didn't exactly know how. when you start to think about how many innocent people lost their lives because of bush wanting foreign oil it, really amazes me how selfish he was. this video even explained how there wasn't even any evidence of planes left behind. I really don't know how the government could just lie to the people of America just so they could get what they wanted. This video really opened my eyes to 9/11, and I would love to watch it again
the portrayal of events pertaining to 911 fascinated me.no where else could any type of supportive information be given as to why these events occured and if the government was truly involved.although a sad tragedy, this revelation of coincidences" proved to be fascinating and change my overall view of how and why this tragedy occured in the first place. the movie was very interesting. I thought the author or director really made me think. I feel like the united states was feeling nationalism. I think people have the right to speak out against terrorism. I think terrorism is wrong and it should be stop. The movie really made me feel like the I should be happy that I live in the united states. The movie also was sad because of the way the people died in 9/11
Watching the movie...well, watching part 2 of Zeitgeist made me afraid of the world and the government itself. Believe or don't believe that the government cannot be trusted. How can and how long will you continue to hide secrets from the people of America? Instead of feeding us the whole information about what is really going on in the world, the government only tells us what we want to hear and supposedly what we "need" to hear. Not telling us what is the truth behind the conspiracies we had in the past twelve years WOULD make us fearful. This reminds me of The Manhattan Project and former President Truman. Perhaps they did not tell America just yet about the atomic bomb because of the Red Scare and spies. Either way the Soviet Union knew about the atomic bomb. Is America still fearful of the word(s) "terror", "terrorist", and "terrorism". Questions ponder my mind as I think about the uncivil events that has taken over America in the past twelve years. Did former President Bush know about the 9/11 attacks on WTC and the Pentagon? Was he pretending that he did not know where Osama bin Laden was hiding? Who else knew about the planned(coincidental to us)Boston Bombing? Was the plant explosion in Texas also planned? It seems like TERROR is all America is afraid of as we watch the innocent become murder victims. What if we are ALL being watched by some secret spy we don't know about? What about our webcams in our laptops and computer monitors? (Keep your clothes on). Are we being watched by the government through our webcams, JUST to make sure that we, OURSELVES, are not terrorist? Would that NOT be violating our first, ninth, AND tenth amendment? What happened to freedom? There has been previous schemes, scandals, and theories reported that people hack into other webcams. VIOLATING, I repeat, VIOLATING our rights! Wars, terrorism, secrets, lies. All of this makes you just want to crawl back into fetal position in a corner of a dark room and want life to be easier and peaceful. Things like this ponder my mind when I have nothing progressive to do as a past time or when I sit in any class and stare off into space. I'm not daydreaming, I have epiphanies and think about how would life be if the world was at peace altogether.
In my personal opinion, this movie is just another conspiracy theory. 9/11 was a tragedy for this nation and there is simply no way that a government could purposely take the lives of all those people. A government is built to serve and protect its country not tear it down. Although sometimes our government may be corrupt, the lives of these people could not have been taken on government authority.
