Zeitgeist part 2--9/11

What do you think about this segment of Zeitgeist?

  1. FIRST! :)
Ok, I'm also not sure what to think about this. I don't know if all the points used to prove the false flag theory are true or not. I did think it was interesting and much better than the first part because I didn't feel that there was as much cherry-picking. The collapses of towers 1 & 2 threw me for a loop at first but thanks to firefighting, I learned that explosions were not needed to cause the collapses. Fire alone could simply weaken the supports just enough to cause a collapse. Tower 7 I have no comment on because there is little ever said regarding it. The fact that there were no engines from the plane that hit the Pentagon can be addressed by the fact that they were spinning fast enough to fly apart on impact, rather than vaporize (the theory stated in this part). Those are just my thoughts regarding the towers. The rest of this part I will not comment on because they didn't leave a lasting impression like the Towers so I did not contemplate a response the them.

    1. Thanks for posting, Thomas...and early :-)

RE: no engines. Even if they shattered and flew apart, wouldn't there still be pieces? And I believe the Zeitgeist claim is the engines didn't vaporize (the official theory) because it wasn't a plane that hit the Pentagon.

  2. Part two of Zeitgeist made me really think. I would not be surprised if that really did happen. When we are in war the economy usually goes up when we are winning. War keeps us going so it would make sense for the government to try to create a war. Logically it makes sense for the government to do that, but morally it is inconceivable for anyone to kill that many people.

  3. I definitely agree with the things that were stated in Zeitgeist part 2.. the points that were stated and the evidence that supported them seem to be pretty accurate to me. Again, because of my upbringing I was also well aware beforehand of the controversy dealing around part 2. There is just no way that the Twin Towers plummeted to the ground the way the did. I believe that there were bombs in the towers beforehand and its just really sad because a lot of people lost their lives that day. The government hides a lot of stuff from the american people and part 2 of zeitgeist just really opened my eyes some more about how they can not be trusted. I don't feel as though the government has the american people's best interest at heart and that money is the main motive.

  4. kabian here speaking on Zeitgeist part 2. This was an eye opening account of the world trade center attack and when they began to piece the parts together i was rather convinced. I was still skeptic as to why the government would do such a horrendous act to its own people until they began to point out similarities from the past that started previous wars and conflicts that we learned about in class like the Tonkin attack and the sinking of the Lusitainia after a clear warrning was published by the Soviets. The fact that the United States would use this event and boost up the American people's "patriotism" with false claims and propaganda, painting the picture of this ever-present terrorist regime out to destroy the country, just to get support for a war whose true goal was not in fact terror but rather oil. And I found that the man speaking on "The Tube" hit the nail directly on the head, we as people take everything at face value, had we dug deeper and questioned why did the government take all the tapes of the "Pentagon attack" and lock them up? Why did no one question how the third building fell that wasn't hit wand was obviously taken out by planned execution? I feel this part of the movie was the most interesting and informative portion and really challenged you to question what the majority of people feel is "common knowledge".

  5. The second part of Zeitgeist was the BIGGEST eye-opener in the whole movie. I always had a feeling that I should not trust the government and be aware of the thing they do, but I did not want to believe that the government would ruin their own World Trade Center. Seeing how they broke it down and hearing someone who was there at the exact moment it happened pass away on the phone was depressing. Many innocent people;s lives were taken away and the people who have caused this are not rightfully punished and in my opinion they should be.

  6. This part had was frightenening. I wonder what they had to hide. It also scares me how little the public wants to find the truth. Even in myself. Just happy and safe in ignorance huh?

  7. Part 2 of Zeitgeist was even better than the first part. Really made me think about what the government would do to get the people that they want. It also showed how little the human life means to the government because that was roughly 3000 people they killed that day just to get what they want. Selfish is what it is. I mean do they honestly expect me to believe that 1 little passport from the alleged terrorist who by the way is still alive survive not only the plane crash but the fire and the collapse of the building unscathed. I'm sorry that just complete bullshit. Bullshit that the government try to feed you on a spoon. Time for people to really open their eyes and look into things for themselves instead of letting the government tell them what is what. I mean honestly Bush and Cheney didn't want to go under oath because they knew the truth and knew that people would be highly upset so they pretty much ask "Can we have no one see us talk and oh can we lie through our teeth". Thanks to Zeitgeist part 2 i'm going to do my own research on 911 and see what i can find so if i turn up missing you know who got me.

  8. Zeitgeist part 2 was very interesting also . I agree that there is some kind of conspiracy going on with the bombing and collapsing of both buildings . It is kind of weird that bush was meeting wit our biggest rival brother before this devastating crime took place . Two buildings was hit different ways but came dwn the same way and i believe something wasnt right about it . This video kind of make me think different about society

  9. Part 2 Zeitgeist was very intriguing. I had already had questions about 9/11 from seeing previous stuff and this probably confirmed my belief that 9/11 was an "inside job". The stuff that probably confirmed this was seeing the stuff about the Commission Report and how Bush seemed to avoid questions and how him and Dick Cheney only met on their terms. The only thing I haven't seen anybody explain is the phone calls they have from people from the plane that confirm the hijacking. I also still don't know if the government hired people to hijack the planes or did they know that it was going to happen and set up things to help it collapse.

  10. Maybe the facts about 9/11 from part 2 of Zeitgeist is true but still it is not 100% sure whether the American Govt. had a huge part. I guess there are lot of predictions about this attack so I can't just come to an conclusion by watching this movie only. Whatever happened, it happened. It is a tragedy that so many Americans lost their lives.

  11. Viewing part 2 of Zeitgeist in class has truly opened my eyes that the government can not be trusted. I feel that the so called Terroist attack is not what it seems to be. I believe that the president at that time had a major role in this plan and knowing t5hat he is only to kill his own people is a disgrace to america. Just knowing how that planes hit the twin towers and how Bush was overseas with the enemie says alot for it self. This will forever be a tragedy in the United States.

  13. Part two of Zeitgeist was a very interesting segment of the movie. They focused on 911 and how they believe the government had involvement. They had proof for many of the things that they stated and it made sense. However, I guess I still do not know to what extent exactly the government involvement in this unfortunate incident actually was. I personally do not want to believe this; I would like to think the government would not do this but who knows. In the end it made me question my trust in the government, and it really got me thinking. I believe it is now more important for me to do research of my own and look into this, and other Americans should too.

  14. The second part of the Zeitgeist movie was something else. Knowing that the government had a big hand in 9/11 is one thing but the fact that they've lied about it repeatedly is just sad. I mean do they really expect people to believe that a passport could make it out of a burning plane and building completely unscathed? Well can we see it? No. Crap like that coupled with the building falling demolition style and people hearing booms gives me a great distaste towards our government. Its just sad to see how far human beings will go to harm one another. And these are the people we've been taught in school to respect and look up to. But then again I guess if there are liars at the bottom then there have to be liars at the top too. The worse thing about the government being negatively involved in 9/11 is seeing how expendable the lives of innocent citizens really are to them. More than likely this isn't the first time they've done something like this to meet their means and sadly it probably won't be the last.

  15. I have to admit when I first began to watch part two about the September 11th attacks I was compeletely made my mind up that this conspiracy crap was b.s. until I heard a very profound statement that totally blew me away by a news anchor who said " how can these two buildings that were not hit the same way go down the exact same way in the exact same manner". After that my mind was greatly open to what the video had to say, the firefighters hearing explosions, testaments of explosions in the basement before the planes hit, thrown away FBI videos and tapings of how the pentagon got hit and the biggest one the unknown theory to how in the heck building 7 came down right now I really don't know what to believe, but there is in fact one thing I do know and have know learned and that is you can trust NO ONE!!!!

  16. Yea, part 2 was interesting. Not much to exactly say about it. The world is corrupted, the government tells us what they want us to know, and no one can truly save the entire world. A lot goes on that we have no knowledge of, therefore, what can you truly trust these days? I do think the government has something to do with 9/11. Besides, there are people out there who have more power than our own government that are calling the shots at times.

  17. Part 2 was really interesting on how the government created these attacks to get to the people they wanted and how they blamed those attacks on these so called terrorists. I believe that the government was behind 9/11. But what really scares me is how careless they were to put innocent lives at risk. And how the citizens really thought that these were terrorists. Part 2 was a real eye opener.

  18. Part 2 was very good. I like the way that they studied every detail. Every detail they said they pretty much had back up. I can agree with some type of conspiracy, or the gov't being behind 911. Depends on the way you take it. They proved a lot of different things for me. I give that a thumbs up.

  19. Part 2 follows part 1very well. Before saying anything i would like to point out that while exposing this 9/11 cover up, you never actually hear people ask any questions. The narrator simply points out an inconsistency or flaws in logic provided by the government and then they stick a random video clip in to defend that point. Now the clip or logic they provide may not be wrong but its organized in almost a manipulating way to make you think every word they say is true. It may all be true, im not debating that, i just feel that like most marketing campaigns or adds it leaves little room for interpretation and makes it seem like the video is fact. Back to the main point, near the end of part 1 they state that Christianity might have been created by the Romans as a way to control people and pointed out that it actually worked. the majority of the world's population believed the church and as stated before, it led to the crusades, the Inquisition, the witch trials, "donating" to god in a church and so on. Which really were all just labeled holy wars and holy causes. This idea of control is what the video focuses on most. It points to these 9/11 flaws to show that everything we hear on the news or from the president isn't always true. We even learn about backdoor agreements and secret treaties all across history. In World War I all the way to the cold war. And possibly even farther back. Part 1 brings up religion as a way to control people while part 2 focuses more on the government's role and attempts at controlling the population. A large number of these 9/11 facts make no logical sense. it's even shown that the American people's faith in government has dropped since the attacks. But if you think about it....the world is truly truly corrupt. We see political scandals and murders and organized crime all over the news everyday and accept it like that's just life. And some say that if they become president they'll shake the foundation of the system and make things good again but honestly you can't. the system is designed so that every branch checks after the other 2. you would need supreme control over the government which can work sometimes, but the best example of that system is Caesar in Rome. He never gave up his power. And on the flip side of that coin everyone who makes a change that really upsets society is killed because not everyone understands. You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. You physically CAN NOT get the power of presidency without making deals or twisting morals. And even if you do, no one will listen to you, the rest of your office will be reworked by the people who had power before you so that none of your decisions will take effect unless they agree with them. you would need 500 uncorrupted, honest people in politics to even attempt a reform like that. The government only works in theory. a theory that states you need 3 nice guy, but if 2 guys are bad, the good will lose out. That's our system, and we can't fix it without starting a new revolution and creating a new America. Our laws and government doesn't need reworking or cleaning, it needs an over hall.

  20. This part of the movie had me thinking about all the stuff that the government is doing behind our backs. Even though we cannot believe every word they say about these things, it still makes you wonder about the events that happened in the past and the present.

  21. Part two of Zeitgeist, which talked about 911, was very interesting. It served as an eye opener to me and made me ponder the truth and what "really" happened. Prior to watching this film, I was never one who "trust" the government. After watching this film, it helped to substantiate me not trusting the government. It seems as though there are certainly a lot of lies and unanswered questions. However, I cannot say that I'm 100% sure that it was government setup. If they did it really makes me feel unsafe and believe that my life is not valued in this country. Overall, Zeigeist provided a lot of interesting points to ponder on.

  22. For a long period of time I have wondered about 911 and what really happened. This movie really had me thinking more about how the government truly operates because they only tell us what they think we should no and as the victor on the "War on Terror" we write what goes in the history books. This movie made a lot of good points and I agree with they 100%. The only thing is if they know all this why was this allowed to be made and why hasn't the government gotten rid of this film?

  23. Part two of the film was really eye opening. 9/11 was a very traumatic day for many Americans I'm sure and I didn't find it hard to belive that the government could have had a whole lot to do with the events that took place. It's a shame to say something so wrong about the country that you live in but what else could it be? The film made me question what can we as Americans do? many people don't even know why we're at war anyway. I STILL don't know why we're at war. So what can we do? And Tyrik was right, why hasn't the government gotton a hold of this yet? Maybe it's another fear generator...who knows?

  24. Part two of Zeitgeist was very interesting and yet disturbing of how our own government could have more to do with the terrorist attacks that claimed the lives of several Americans. Being that I was only in 1st grade at the time of 911, I learned much about the event after the fact. I have always assumed that the United States government had a lot to do with the 911 attacks and they were just not some random and unexpected event like we were told. I enjoyed how the authors of the movie broke down the common belief about September 11 into different aspects, proving just about the entire thing to be false. The most alarming part for me was the part when it was explained that there is no solid evidence that planes did in fact hit the buildings. It makes you wonder what could have cut the buildings at that angle and cause the molten melt. In my opionion that government looks even more guilty in the fact that they refuse to releases the videotapes from the street cameras around that area. This part of the movie also makes you wondered if the government could plan something like this to place fear in people, what else are they capable of.

  25. Part 2 of Zeitgeist was very interesting. I though it was neat how the film examines the possibility that the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001 on the United States were an inside job. Which also means that the US government was either completely responsible, or allowed it to happen. It also covers a small amount about the terrorist attacks on London on July 7, 2005. The video the showed us added a nice touch to it as well. Part 2 gave me a new insight in the events if 911.

  26. As I accidently stated in my Blog for Part I, this 9/11 Theory really made me question the government which I am ruled by. I can believe that my government would do something like this simply because of the coruption I see everyday within it. The fact that there was no solid reason behind Twin Tower #7 falling made realize how much the U.S government hides from its people and how it deceives us all. I beleive the U.S used those terrorist as a cover up for all of the crap they did. I never really did trust the government because of things they've done in the past but seeing this theory really topped it off.

  27. I think that this supports allot of therioes many americans have. I have always thought that there were many things that we could not expain that were to well placed togeather to just be coincidencies. It is known that we had prior notice however I believe that certain people knew more about the plan and a few were major players. Even though you hope that a country wouldnt do that to its people its been done before in history so you cannot go off of hope.

  28. WOW! Is almost all i could say to the second part of Zeitgeist. The idea that the goverment had something to do with 911 was impossilbe until i saw this. This showed a clear vision of how much we dont know about our governemt and how the United states is ran. i dont understand why or how they could have the hearts to kill so many american people.this could be true but then again i really cant rap my mind around the fact that 911 could have been an inside job.

  29. I think Part 2 of Zeitgeist was very interesting and it was my favorite part that we watched. The way that everything linked together made you sit back and wonder whether or not it was true. I do believe the government is capable of pulling of such schemes because they are the ones with all the power. Being that they hold all the power and they are supposed to be helping us out as citizens, no one would think that they would do something so devastating. A lot of Americans are in denial about what goes on behind the scenes so they would never believe that the government would do this to us. I wouldn't be surprised if everything was planned to keep us Americans "in check".

  30. The second part of Zeitgeist was really interesting to me. It made me question the U.S. government. The movie made a lot of good points and the way they broke down the 9/11 tragedy had me thinking that it may have actually been the government that caused the supposed "Terrorist attack".

  31. Part II of Zeitgeist was really shocking for me. Personally, I don't trust the government, but after seeing Part II, I'm even more suspicious of government activity. I mean...come on! How coincidental that they were having a bomb testing on the SAME DAY around the SAME TIME in the SAME AREA??!! There is no such thing as a coincidence. 9/11 and the bombing of the World Trade Center were two very tragic and earth-shattering events for America. I will say this though: If what the creators of Zeitgeist is true and it's ever ACTUALLY proven, the government is going to have some serious heat from the people on their butts. I'm keeping my ears and eyes open even more now when it comes to the government.
P.S- The so- called 'war on terror' was crud from the very beginning in my opinion. Bush and his cronies were making some deals behind stone walls that we weren't aware of. Americans just ended up falling for the government's elaborate propaganda against the Iraqis and Afghanistan people.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Part two of Zeitgeist really appealed to me
because it made sense to me because of how much of the current events relate to historical ones. The United States is always overstepping its boundaries in other countries and making enemies. The 9/11 attack is said to be a terrorist attack from AlQueda but most of the men that were linked are walking free, the buildings that collapsed were built to withstand strikes from airplane, and the steel bars should have still been left standing, however the entire building collapsed. The President at the time, Bush, kept the meetings and statements made by him and the vice president a secret. If the information that was told to the public from politicians by way of the media was the same information that was discussed in private, they should be disclosed to the american people. How can the President and other politicians say they are protecting Americans from danger, but the Americans do not even know what the danger is? They are not really protecting America, but those who the claim bring treat.

  33. Part II of Zeitgeist was really interesting. It answered and confirmed a lot of my questions and theories about the 9/11 "Terrorist Attack". It makes me wonder what will be the outcome of the world in about a decade or so from now. It shows how our government has slied to us and and have continued to do so for a while now. They want us as American citizens to believe that everythingthey do is for the good of us or for the good of our country when this really is not the case at all. Knowing this, it frightens me a little because we have been born into a community of lies that we have been forced to believe and with that being said how exactly do we know who and what to trust.

  34. The 9/11 part of Zeitgeist was my 3rd favorite of the whole movie. It made me really think that 9/11 was staged. Before I thought it was staged but after I seen this I really really thought it was staged. What really made me think that it was staged was: how they took the cameras out of the hotel, the "pancake effect" of how the towers fell and WTC 7. It was very crazy how they didn't have any explanation for how WTC caught fire for no particular reason. When they took the videos out of the hotel across from the pentagon that kinda made me think that they were trying to hide something from us. I believe that nothing flew into the building and they used debris to try and make it seem like something did.

  35. When I watched the second part of Zeitgeist it really made me think. The first part was not as interesting as this one only because the 9/11 attacks made me realize the how's and whys of what really went on. Also the end of te world thing made me happy because it shows that the work WILL NOT BE ENDING anytime soon . So this part of zeitgeist was my ultimate favorite.

  36. Hi! This is Frederick and I apologize for the late post, but I was absent when this video was shown. My sentiments about Zeitgeist part II are vague. I believe that most of the claims in the video have some validity to them because it's no secret that the government has secrets and withholds from the public. In addition it wouldn't be surprising information if 9/11 was proven to be an inside job. The story of Zeitgeist got better as I continued to watch, and honestly I would like to see more. Thank you for the exposing me to the different views and opinions of this documentary,it is greatly appreciated!

  38. This segment of the video was more interesting than the first in my opinion simply because the topic of 9/11 really interests me. Watching this Part 2 of the video made me question what really happened that day and why someone would make the decision to take so many lives. Also, the part where they told us that the world wouldn't end anytime soon was humorous to me because no on on Earth is able to determine that.
